Thought at first that it was a new remake of The Wicker Man, but instead it's Fifty Shades of Pinocchio.

No. It's a film adaptation of a short story that appears to basically be romantasy pinnochio fan fic.
At last, the Alan Whicker story audiences have been waiting for.
