It must be a KDE version.

To all the users in chat having issues with klitoris, protip: it requires sudo for pretty much every command.

I'm more of a GIMP guy.

I've been looking for that for the past 30 years.

At least the man who provides the documentation is huge.

[–] Scottyc65@reddthat.com 4 points 1 day ago

Only problem with that is most men wouldn't be able to find it.

There's an awesome linux tool called "fuck". When you make a typo in a CLI command and get an error message, all you have to do is type "fuck" and it looks at your last command and the error message and takes a guess at fixing it. If it's right all you have to do is hit Enter. Super useful!

bash: klitoris: command not found...
:(

[–] captain_aggravated@sh.itjust.works 63 points 2 days ago (2 children)

No, you should touch klitoris or finger klitoris, not bash it.

man klitoris

no manual entry for klitoris

Well that explains a lot.

man klitoris? Don't you mean bussy?

No that would probably be the xfce equivalent.

Are you suggesting there is something wrong with any of these names:

  • gimp
  • finger
  • john the ripper
  • libcaca
  • toilet
  • fsck
[–] db2@lemmy.world 180 points 3 days ago (9 children)

Is the GNOME version called Gock?

[–] Gumus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 24 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I would not be surprised if KDE already had "Klitoris"

The most clearest description of file explorer: Dolphin (?)

Like if Nautilus is any better

Or, like, Total Commander. A wild guess would be some strategy game.

[–] T156@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Meanwhile, Midnight Commander reads like the title to a pornogram.

Or nautilus. My assumption is the files are in your sea not in their cloud.

Is this meme from 2020? Windows would just call it Internet Copilot.

GNOME folks are like "well, before GNOME was even a thing, we had this application called The Gimp, and we kinda wish we didn't call it that, so please don't name your apps for laughs OK?"

I'm still amazed people use and browse the septic tank of the internet. Xitter just won't stop.

I'm kind of surprised that Apple didn't name the iPhone just "Phone".

[–] Trainguyrom@reddthat.com 1 points 1 day ago

Don't forget iPods were this big back when the iPhone was released:

And as others pointed out they had the iMac and iBook and iTunes and the iMac was full of more iNames that I can't even think of right now. It fit their branding enough that SNL did a joke about iRan and iRack
