Just a reminder that it's illegal for Trump to unilaterally impose these tariffs without congressional approval. Again. Again.

Launching a trade war against our closest ally while he also collapses the US dollar value and the world economy.

I'm so tired of this retarded pedophile mother fucker

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Yep. It's almost as if he is doing everything our enemies would want, but all the Murc's Law Media dipshits are out there trying to scold everyone on "civility" and "conspiracy theories" whenever any mention of Russia is made...even declaring that it's a "hoax", LOL.

A new novel was just released by an author who spent a very long time researching the tech broligarchs called "The Nerd Reich".

In it he explains the collapse of the economy is intentional.

Have you read that workbook?

[–] Bristlecone@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Normally I admonish use of the r-word, but that is almost ALWAYS what pops into my head about this worthless fucker

[–] HazardousBanjo@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

Its always appropriate to use when it comes to this child raping sack of shit

Honestly at this point other countries need to bite the bullet and issue total embargos on American goods, services, and flights IMO. At least until Trump is dead or out of power.

[–] realitista@lemmus.org 17 points 3 days ago

Europe will take your goods, Canada. We can replace US ones with them.

No deal? But I thought trump was a deal guy. I'm actually pretty sure that he claims to have written a book about the deal.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

He's always talking about "deals" like he was ever really good at any of this, even on the bush-league level that he spent his life in.

People keep forgetting that he just played a businessman on a game show he was given. His opinion of himself as some super-bigly deal-makin' businessman is pure myth, and no one else should buy into his fantasy about himself.

So much winning.

I really do think donnie will take the "honor" of being the worst president in history.

@CharlesDarwin @onpoliticsnews

I think he's going for Emperor. Or Godhood.

in any case,

They should fight fire with fire. Do double of all the tariffs the US does and don't ever give them up ever. Don't take any concession, as any time anyone does, Trump does the Goofy meme and says: "I'll fucking do it again". There's no talking to these people, they will only respond to pressure. Tariffs can be renegotiated after the next elections and my suggestion would be for those elections to be held sooner than planned. Trump needs to go, that's the only way for anything to ever be fixed.

[–] Bristlecone@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

Good, fuck the US. I'm buying extra Canadian for the next while. I hope any of this causes any number of fucking right wing US dipshits to suffer

[–] Yeller_king@reddthat.com 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Seems to me that with inflation being the main economic concern an embargo of key products would be more effective. Stop selling the US food or lumber.

Canada should impose a levy on oil exports to the US.
