amy doctors wanna chime in on this?
It may cause strokes, but current chiropractic-funded studies say otherwise.
Those people started doing it becaus a ghost told a guy that the magical energy flows through the spine and every illness happens because the spine is misaligned and needs to be straighten. You don't need a doctor to tell you the merit of all that
(This person is not making this up. This is really, actually the foundation of chiropracty. Don’t go to or support chiropractors. They are not doctors.)
Not a doctor but there’s no way that’s good.
Also not a doctor, but I remember reading, that those practices have paralyzed people - and I can believe that. Definitely not good.
The neck stuff they do increases risk of stroke. The whole chiropractic practice isn't backed by medical research.
What do army doctors have to do with it
He said Amy but she's out at the shops right now
try a different pronoun, buster
Tyranny is a woman?! Makes sense 😝
To be fair there's nothing in their profile to suggest it and this is the Internet where gender is about as important as an ice cube in Antarctica
They?
Horrifying
Plot twist: this was never a torture device, it’s just a story of the inventor going “go on, admit it, it feels good, don’t it?” that got blown way out of proportion
Another torture was to force feed the guy with poop n piss until tummy is bloated. then jump on the stomach.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwedentrunk
was sometimes used during the thirty years' war (1618 - 1648), so early modern age (again, sigh), not medieval age.
Stop by the torture museum in Amsterdam if you really want to see what a clusterfuck of a species we are
Was it worse going in or coming out? Did they make them eat it again? Was there more than one recipient per fecal vessel?
This guy tortures.
The important questions
Wouldn’t you just vomit it up immediately?
Yes. Most “medieval torture history” stuff is just creative writing exercises that get handed down for generations.
