The first two are the I love you, the dino is because she's a dinobabe, the heart is my favorite color and means I like this
I think I also am very married.
- You're caring and supportive of your partner.
- You put the effort to even let them know when/how you're getting home using different types of emoji.
- You also emotionally support them with the love reminders and venting/commiseration emojis.
- Having a three emoji system dedicated to task tracking and updates probably means you're detail oriented or responsible.

No, people are far more complex then pictograms can show. Pictograms outside of conversational context can not carry intent which is pretty important with working out a personality.
True that. But I feel like you can at least glean something from what pictograms they choose to express themselves with. Like how you can with the posters they choose to hang in their room.
My most-used chat app is Discord, and that one has custom emojis.

I think the main problem is that they get stripped from their context? So it becomes unclear whether an emoji is used in earnest or whether it is used sarcastically or ironically.
The custom emojis do add a bit of a personal touch though

I very rarely use emojis. Ironically I mostly use them on desktop. KDE Plasma has a pretty nice emoji picker app.
