- Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
- Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!

The problem is, every warning or piece of hostile architecture reads like a challenge to any colonists that come after us.

Ok so you've warned future people about nuclear waste, now are we going to get to work on warning future people about poisonous fruits, poisonous fish, volcanoes, etc? No? Why not? Won't those kill more future people than a few idiots that decide to go exploring a cave with a bunch of skull images out front? Once a few people die from going into the skull cave, the rest of the tribe know not to go there.
We can't keep 100% of future idiots safe from everything. Why would people be so obsessed over trying to make people safe from this one particular thing when there would be hundreds of dangers a primitive tribe would have to deal with constantly?
So they should use a buoy.

But in all seriousness, the idea is to make the place of the final nuclear waste disposal unattractive to curious humans of the future 10'000 years.
So why not somewhere that is naturally unattractive and stays so for a few million years? Like, a never changing extreme desert? Antarctica? A deep sea trench?

There is no saying that a desert will remain a desert in 10k years.
It also needs to be somewhere geologically stable. You really don't want erosion cracking open the storage. That limits the options.
It's also worth noting that habitability can change remarkably rapidly. E.g. the Sahara went through a green period. It ended about 5000 years ago. The reverse can also happen.
The mindset being used is also layered defense. We need to make it simultaneously understandable, boring and off-putting. Putting it somewhere inaccessible also helps.
