Here's the thing that is shocking to me about a lot of celebrities: You have the money, you have the fame. All you have to do is avoid doing something stupid that gets noticed. Don't be an asshole, don't post garbage on Twitter. All you have to do is just live your life and not make waves. I guess that for some people, whatever nonsense drove them into fame also causes bad behavior.

It's the arrogance. They feel they are unstoppable and can fix anything with money until there's a knock at the door.
It is hard to say they are completely wrong in feeling that way, too.
At which point they hire a good lawyer and thus continue to use money to fix anything.
60% of the time it works every time.
He’s only famous because of Biggie! No B.I.G. no money! Fuck him!! Coattail riding bitchhhhhhh
It had never crossed my mind until now that he may have not only slept with Biggie's widow, but actually Biggie himself as well, given everything that's coming out.
🤯
This makes sense if rich people get themselves in trouble doing something petty. Why sabotage your freedom if you're already rich? What do you have to gain that you don't already have?
The real issue here is that when you have money already, you can use it to exert power over people to get the things you want in life. A good person would hire people at a fair wage to help run their lives so they can spend their time only doing what they want to do, and invest their money so that they can live lavishly off of it for their whole lives.
In this case, Combs, who is not a good person, wanted sex slaves, and so he used his money to traffic women.
The reason they got the money was by making the biggest waves though
Lots of people do just that. We're only hearing about this because he's a celebrity. Shitbag normal people rarely make the news.
Gaining power has been shown to turn you into a shitbag, neurologically.
It's not just that we hear about the famous or rich ones, it's not that drive to attain power is more common among assholes.
As you attain wealth, status or fame your brain begins to look more and more like the brain of a clinically diagnosed psychopath.
"Power Corrupts" is not a social tendency or a moral failing, it's the biological reality.
Lots of people do just that.
I am referring only to celebrities in my comment.
My point is that if you are under enhanced scrutiny, you best not create things for people to look at.
Welp, the feds raiding his properties means the allegations against him are at a minimum credible. Disappointing
What did he do now?
This raid is in connection to sex trafficking allegations, though four other people have accused him of sexual assault and rape.
"The raid may be linked to a possible sex traffic investigation, another source familiar with the matter told NBC News. The source added three Jane Does and one John Doe have been interviewed by the Southern District of New York in relation to sex trafficking, sexual assault, the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms related Combs.
The source also said another three Jane Does have interviews scheduled"
The sprawling property was surrounded by federal officials and tactical vehicles as investigators looked into sex trafficking allegations.

Did some diddling, without consent.
Diddy gunna diddle
P. Diddly
Disappointing? I would say expected. If you had the impression that he was a good person, then you haven't been paying attention for his entire career
I mean yeah but all that shit pales in comparison to these allegations, imo
Kind of amazed NBC didn’t go with “compound” instead of “properties”.
