You knew he was going to get called for something that never gets called?

Is Wilson that much better?

Just another stat padder smh

Stroud is averaging 291.8 yards a game which puts him just in front of Cousins (291.4) and Tua (289.9).

This pace would put him at 4961 yards for the season which would shatter Luck's record of 4374 (273 yards a game)--in fact at Stroud's pace he'd break it after 15 games.

Plus Stroud has a rating of 101, while Luck finished at 76.5.

  • In the 2002-03 season LeBron played 25 games and finished with averages of 29.2 / 9.3 / 4.7 with highs of 52 points, 15 rebounds, and 9 assists (separate games)

  • For his high school career he put up 25/8/5

  • Over his last 4 NBA seasons he's put up 27/8/8

  • In his first 4 NBA seasons he put up 27/6/7

We talk about his consistency entering his 21st NBA season, but throw in his 4 years of high school where he also had similar productivity against slightly less competition and the consistency extends out to 25 years.

Football is generally known as the league with the most ~~parody~~ parity because of the draft+salary cap (though we've seen this can be offset with franchise QBs), while baseball with a looser salary cap and a less consequential draft makes it more like European soccer.

However this year's world series is featuring two teams who were among the league's worst just two years prior.

What's the closest NFL equivalent?
