To the point of the original comment, I think it's less "what can I buy to get drunk" and more "what can I buy that I can enjoy?" Which (going from memory here so somebody correct me if I'm wrong) with the trends of the younger generations leaning towards nicer liquors, cocktails/mix drinks and craft beers, as those get pricier the overlap of enjoy and pay for is shrinking.

I've only learned (so no first hand experience) about radiation exposure limits and such around power plants in college, plus I agree with the sentiments you mentioned, but isn't it common that being inside a powerplant has less radiation than being in a standard home? The amount of water, shielding, concrete, etc around a powerplant results in less radiation than being near your TV, microwave, any number of foods like bananas, or getting an X-ray once in a blue moon or something like that

I'm 90% sure I saw him getting detained and the carrier doesn't even have plates in it. A cop taking it off him did it casually with 1 hand and the vest wasn't weighted down by 6-12 lb plates on either side. It looked about as ridged as maybe the dense foam or plastic meant to hold the plate snuggly.

Lived here most of my life, there is no like about it. Everybody can be at the mercy of the weather and if you can help somebody you do. I've had strangers help me twice with shovels, sand in their car, pushing etc. You would have to be a massive dickhead for people to not help you, and a despicable kind of human to be heckled for it.
