It’s difficult to say they are better or worse than people are giving credit without seeing the points required to “cover”.

If covering the spread requires you to beat a team by 13 thats very impressive. If its a 1 score spread then it becomes less impressive although still impressive. Not sure I an articulating my point well, super hungover sorry.

I dont think the QB with the best stats win it. Right now, that would be Purdy or Stroud overall. They wont give it to Stroud because he is a rookie, and Purdy won’t get it because some fans and critics dont even think he is top 10.

CMC, Hill, AJB all deserve it more. Statistically Hurts isn’t even in the top 3 in the NFC for QBs.

They don’t look very impressive in their wins. However, there is something to be said about being able to win close games and not letting the pressure get to you even though you are down late in the game.
