If the Magic accept all of their options next season they would have 11 players on the roster at roughly $97m. That would leave us with around $45m to spend while retaining:

Isaac ($17.5m option)

Anthony

Ingles ($11m option)

Banchero

Wagner

Wagner

Houston

Suggs

Black

Howard

WCJ

Markelle has a $25.5m cap hold

Gary has a $19.5m cap hold

Goga has a $2.5m cap hold

I think the logical moves here would be to re-sign Gary/Goga. Let Fultz walk and work towards Suggs/Wagner extensions. Orlando has a lot of flexibility to play with

Rockets coming back down to earth. Love to see it

Cade has been nothing but inefficient and careless since he's been drafted. He's part of the problem

Detroit vs Everybody

I want to win the group. Especially if the Bucks and Pacers move on

The VanVleet and Brooks signings were some of the best in recent memory. It's really unlocked the positive aspects of the Rockets young core. If Detroit makes those same moves I feel like they would be worlds better than 2-14

Cole Anthony and Frans Wagner combined for 60 points on 31 shots, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists in the 13 point win over the Hornets.

Magic improve to 12-5

The Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic have the same offensive rating and defensive rating. Both are tied for 5th in Net Rating.

Offense rating of 111.9

Defensive rating of 106.8

He honestly has a quick first step, great handles, can drive on opposing centers and his touch around the rim is some of the best I've seen from a big man. He's a legit scorer in this league

Spurs are the worst team in the league and get a shit ton of prime time games. No one wants to watch them

The Oklahoma City Thunder currently hold a minor lead in Net Rating over the Boston Celtics for the #1 spot

Okc 9.0 net rating

Boston 8.5 net rating

The Magic held the Celtics to 40 points in the 2nd Half, outscoring them by 25. Tatum and Brown combined for 4/20 from the field.

At 10-5 the Magic are tied for the 2nd best record in the East and 4th best record in the NBA through 15 games. Lots to like about this team to start season.

With the fourth youngest roster at 24.5 average age the Magic are suffocating teams with a defensive rating of 106.4.

Led by Suggs who's 3rd in Defensive EPM, Goga Bitadze who's 5th, Frans who's 12th and Issac who is 30th.

This teams effort and length on the defensive end is unmatched. 7th in Net rating as well. I still think they are a year or two behind OKC but this is a very promising young roster who has a lot of financial flexibility in the near future. Jamahl Mosley should be the front runner for COTY

The #1 ranked offense faces off against the #1 ranked defense.

Indiana currently has the #1 ranked Ortg at 122.0

Orlando currently is tied with Boston with a Drtg of 106.5.

The Chicago Bulls have scored exactly 33 points in the first half in consecutive games against the Magic

50-33 on Wednesday

48-33 tonight

Of players with at least 125 career starts, Killian Hayes has the lowest WS in NBA history at -0.6. He also has the 6th worst TS% of all time (min 125 starts)

45.5% career TS%

Why does Ivey come off the bench? Why does Killian still have a job?
