Damn the 2021 class went from being possibly one of the best draft classes since 2011 to being undoubtedly having a worse ceiling than the 2018 and 2020 draft (who may people see as one of the weakest classes).

Ant had the 4th highest net rating since 1997 and is leading the league right now while having the highest BPM in the team and Net rating as well as other advanced stats such as DPM and EPM this season.

That's the 4th highest mark ever recorded since play by play data was tracked. Only 03 Garnett, 16 Curry and 16 Green were able to surpass that.

Not necessarily since a midrange shot will draw more free throws instead of a three. So shooting 48% from middy while drawing more free throws like and 1s is equivalent to around 1.03 pts per possession.

Very similar stats between the two. Though the pace and offenses at the time is obviously different which leaves Kobe at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, it's pretty fascinating how similar the stats are. Is ANT the next SG great in line?

According to NBA.com, Edwards is leading the league in +- at +14.7 and Net Rating with +19.9 among qualified players (with lower restrictions, Derrick White gets the top spot at +22!)

Impact stats finally giving Ant some love.

Fred would be in GOAT contention if you only look at his 3 point rate because he barely shoots 2 pointers

Yea. Lamelo had a 6'5.5 wingspan in his scouting report. Curry's is 6'4. Butler's is 6'7.

Lamelo has the shortest wingspan relative to his height in the NBA right now. His wingspan is 1.5 inches longer than Curry's and we all know Curry has Trex arms. His defensive ceiling is slightly below average at best. The only short-armed great defender in the NBA is Butler and his wingspan is 2 inches longer while being shorter than Lamelo plus he's more athletic.

Easy for you to say that if you're a big market. Look what happened to the Vancouver Grizzlies when Steve Francis refused to go there. The players have more power than us poverty teams sadly.

Using pts per 75 in different years is not it. You do realize the league average pts per posession is at the highest its ever been now. In 1974, only 3 players cracked 24pts per 75 meanwhile around 25 players did it this 2023 season.
