And this is why we all use metres. (/s)

Correct.

They are where you'll find the deeply ignorant, xenophobic, Daily Mail readers frothing at the mouth and red in the face with anger over how "forriners" are lazy criminals that come here to claim benefits for them and their 16 kids, while simultaneously stealing all the jobs and homes from "hard working British families" (read: "British benefit claimants out of work and living in grothole housing owned by a local slumlord").

Because the wearing of poppies has become synonymous with the now defunct BNP and the rest of the British right wing for a lot of us.

You can thank Stephen Yaxley-Lennon for that.

I've been calling the cybertruck the Homer since it's release. So apt.

It vibrates relatively the same, depending on how much of it there is nearby. ;)

It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end.

I'm in this picture, and I don't like it.

High frequency radio is still below the visible part of the spectrum, gamma is waaay above it.

Time is as imaginary as up/down, left/right, forward/backward.

That is to say that the concept and it's consequences exist no matter what we call it. Time is not a human thing, it's one of the dimensions of the space in which we exist. Calling it "time" and a "second" being as many vibrations of a caesium as it is, that's the human bit.

Technocracy means the masses are ruled by a panel of experts in their fields. Scientific, expert advice sets policy, ie. Logic rules supreme. America is not, is not becoming, and never will be, a technocracy.

America has been an oligarchy for a while, now it's going full authoritarian.

Most of a fucking continent of ignorant morons that completely and totally believe that they are the main character.

Then making them afraid of saying "Yeah, ok boss." is what's left on the table I guess?
