I think my SHP's sound like the opposite of tin cans. To me they feel like a warm hug for my ears every time I listen to them. I'm sensitive to treble and I love warm bass so these are perfect for me. Enjoy!

It will go away on its own. It's impossible to actually dent your skull with headphones. Just ease off on the amount of time you use them or wear lighter/looser ones if you don't want that to keep happening. Or switch to IEMs.

I mostly listen when I'm doing something else like working.

If I'm listening at home or working from home, I mostly use my Philips SHP 9500's because they're my only pair of headphones that are comfortable (both physically and sound-wise) for long listening sessions. But since I discovered IEMs I've been using them more and more at home.

In the office or out and about I use IEMs or wireless earbuds.
