Can confirm. It was pretty much business as usual in Finland while the rest of the world was doing something called “lockdown” and taking special precautions, such as keeping the distance of at least 1 alligator between you and everyone else.

How about internal deflagration or detonation engines?

Because those videos give Google the best ad revenue. Who cares what the users watch all long as Google gets rich along the way.

The search was already so abysmal that this doesn’t change much.

I think the same thing happened with cars too. Certain generation knows how to fix stuff, but they’re completely lost with modern cars where you can’t do anything without a computer plugged in.

I switched to Lemmy around the time when the discussion around the APIcalypse was intensifying. After the blackout, I still visited about once a week, but within a month or two my Reddit usage had gone down to zero. Can’t say I really miss that place. Pretty soon, it’s going to be a year after the 3rd party apps died, and I won’t even notice. I’ve moved on already.

Maybe the KDE devs were expecting you to do file management using the keyboard only. Or maybe they thought that linux users aren’t technical enough that they would ever consider organizing their files. Just dumb it all on the desktop and call it a day, amarite?

  • Quite clear, sir. Only myself and the rest of the English-speaking world is to know.

The exact opposite is true in many cases. Many shops want to subscribe to me, but so far, only two shops have earned that privilege. They give me discounts, and I carry two extra cards with me.

I've only used Amazon to buy obscure raspberry pi stuff that isn't available within a 3000 km radius. Also, roomba spare parts are fine too. If I want something else, I'll just walk to the nearest store and buy it there. I've always wondered why do people want to buy stuff from Amazon or even pay extra to get the prime stuff.

Has anyone made a program for poisoning code? Sort of like the way nightshade is for pictures.
