Brunson so good, love that he proved everyone wrong after they got him instead of Mitchell.

Not a season per say, but arguably Kobe’s most infamous game was that Disasterpiece with all the airballs.

Not a bust, just not an all star. The issue really is that his skillset isn’t really what you need at his position. In a different era, things may have gone a lot better for him.

We should bring in Streetball rules.. Shoot for possession.

He’s got such a strange skillset. He likes to play with finesse- jump hooks, middys— But he also can’t handle the ball whatsoever, and he can’t really shoot 3s. So you’re not really playing him on the perimeter.

But he doesn’t want to use his insane physical gifts to dunk and draw contact, so he can’t be a rim-runner either.

So you’re left with a gifted center whose finesse in the least efficient/effective ways, and only physical every so often for small stretches depending on whether he took his adderall.

He’s been so remarkable this season. I hope Booker and beal can have better health going forward so he can just get to his spots instead of carrying like he has so far this season.

I bought tickets to the 2018 draft and gave him a standing O because I was so excited to finally have a true franchise center. This stuff just makes me sad, he has all the talent and physical gifts in the world and he does this.

Ayton is more *talented*. Hes more *physically gifted*. And thats why its frusterating that hes not goddamned *better* than Nurkic or, in many stretches, the various backup bigs we played during his tenure.

Do you know how many times I said "Ayton would be unstoppable if he he had the fearless mentality of JaVale McGee? Or Richaun Holmes? Or Jock Londale?" and the list goes on and on and on.

And yes, backup bigs play fewer minutes and thats why they often play so hard. But still, man.
