Yes my apologies. I gave a really good excuse though gestures to self in the general

Oh right. Did you get this perspective from movies and tv or have you heard a lot of American people threaten to sue one another in real life

well when your backyard is the night sky for the entire globe you can call me a NIMBY when it comes to starlink's glowing sattelite trains

Your "everyone sues everyone all the time" presumption is not fact based.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/oct/24/america-litigious-society-myth

Here is a list of the top 5 most litigious countries by capita: 1. Germany: 123.2/1,000 2. Sweden: 111.2/1,000 3. Israel: 96.8/1,000 4. Austria: 95.9/1,000 5. U.S.: 74.5/1,000. The Top 10 also includes the UK (64.4); Denmark (62.5); Hungary (52.4); Portugal (40.7); and France (40.3).

As you can see, the risk of lawsuits in the U.S. is less than in Germany, Sweden, Israel, and Austria, and not much greater than the other countries listed in the top 10. Simply stated, Americans are not as litigious as many believe. While the large verdict against McDonalds for serving hot coffee received enormous publicity, that judgment was significantly reduced on appeal and the plaintiff spent the left of her life being ridiculed.

greed isn't an excuse. Oh, sorry I was late but I have a good excuse: I'm lazy

[–] JudahBenHur@lemm.ee 0 points 11 months ago (2 children)

its kind of not. we own now. its great. everytime we pay our mortgage, which feels exactly the same as when we were paying rent, we are in essence saving that money as we get it back when we sell this place (which is all contigent on how much its worth when we sell etc).

when we were paying rent, we paid the landperson's mortgage off month by month, making themmrew wealthy. upkeep is always a part of everything you own.

I think there's something to that. Like they get excited thinking about boy's linuses, so they presume everyone else is also, and only so many people are gay, hence the deduction that homosexuality is a choice

yes, there are some variables, and if you had old gasoline, adding fresh on top is 100% the right hing to do. It dilutes it into the new, more combustable fuel
