Everything about that show is weird in a way that can only be explained through a minimum of a 30-minutes video essay or lecture.

Banning teenagers from porn is not a fight worth anything.

It is kids we should be worried about. 8 year olds who get in contact with hard core porn or fetish porn or violent porn. That is not good for their development.

It wasn't their final destination.

Yeah I imagine so. Disney/Marvel probably do not want to fight with the union that soon.

Circuit boards are produced in China, Taiwan and to a much lesser extend there are some productions in countries like Japan, Malaysia, US, India etc. But nearly all are manufactured in China.

Race is an American concept that is generally considered unscientific in Europe

Can we talk about how "I am the new president of Romania" in itself is an absolutely stupid phrasing to use when prematurely declaring yourself the winner of an election?

They are "trending" pages that rely on a basic algorithm looking at how often a post has been liked and reposted.

What you can customize in Mastodon is your main feed, i.e. the feed of accounts/hashtags you follow. But you need an external app for that, for example FediAlgo: fedialgo.thms.uk/

This is a specification so people know what the law in Germany is. Simple as that.

Since when exactly is Russia in the EU?

The relevant point here is that it would be an odd thing for an F1 team principal to be concerned about. Because FOM and the teams are almost perfectly aligned; so close it’s almost impossible to see the joins. Together they are making way more money than F1 has ever made before and on virtually every matter of consequence they sing from the same hymn sheet.

If it’s bubbling ill-feeling you are looking for, it’s to be found between FOM and the FIA

" (...) The race will take place on a semi-permanent track around the IFEMA convention centre, close to Barajas Airport. The deal will be for 10 years."

A user posted the question What opened your eyes to what's happening in Palestine? on !asklemmy@lemmy.ml.

As is evidenced, multiple comments have been removed by mods. The Mod log shows the moderator removing multiple of these comments due to "rule 1", which on lemmy.ml is:

No bigotry - including racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia. Code of Conduct.

The mods then also banned some of the commenting users for a few days.

This all lead to a post by one of the affected users to AskLemmy, accusing the mods of "removing all comments critical of Hamas". "No comments critical of Israel were removed", the user alleges. The post has since been removed by the lemmy.ml mods as well and the user banned for 14 days.

Using this post as an example:

https://lemm.ee/post/16379151

In the Web UI, it renders as a dropdown Element that needs to be clicked in order to show the images.

In Boost (and other apps I tried), it displays "spoiler spoiler" at the beginning of the post, but doesn't hide anything. Would be great to get properly rendered spoiler tags.

The images in this post I had to manually embed by using the code ![description](image link). It would be great if the formatting shortcuts in the editing window had a button for embedding a picture hosted externally that inserts this code.
