I’ve handled them in stores where they were both pretty well stocked with maybe a color out of stock in each and it feels fine. Like I had a moonswatch too and it felt cheap. Definitely feel slightly different but still both are novelty watches and not worth the price. When I was in Europe I actually got offered one where with tax back and the exchange rate it would have come out to $350 somehow which I was confused by but even at 50 bucks off not worth it in my book.

I’m curious as to if he even had them insured as his wife would pretty easily notice or be informed that there were $200k of watches on a rider or on their own policy. If they aren’t insured and collected over a long period of time perhaps purchased for much less than the current value idk that just trips me up.

What about all the extra links on the watch? Or have you had ADs pop them off for you? Cause I personally don’t get a good feel for a watch when it’s fitted to Andre the Giant.

Have you ever had them take links out to resize it for you to truly experience what it feels like cause I don’t find trying on a watch with 3 or 4+ extra links on there gives me a very good impression of how the watch feels on your wrist.

You already have the right pick the Seiko 5 Sport which can get got for $140-250 depending on the model and deal you can find. That’s a reasonable price for a reasonable watch. If your watching WatchTube your going to be looking at a bunch of pricks that thinks anything under $1k is a steal and really are only going to be hyping up watches outside your budget. Everyone is different but spend what you can very comfortably afford.
