In highschool i worked for a steel shop and they sent me out during a storm to unload a tractor trailer with the forklift, I hadn't dressed appropriately for the task and the rain that day was cold enough that I passed out temporarily, anyway I punctured a tractor trailer tire, while loaded full of 80,000lbs of steel bar. It exploded, I have no recollection of what happened. They found me half a mile away, collapsed on the side of the road. Truck driver saw me slumped in the seat, went to see if I was ok, tire exploded and then I jerked up, launched myself off the forklift and ran down the road.
I'm a big guy at 6' 7" I didn't want a truck, I wanted an SUV at the most but everything I sat in was too narrow and my head was jammed against the ceiling.
I bought a truck in the end because it was the only thing I was comfortable in. Up until that point in my life I had been driving older Cadillac's because of the room, but keeping those boats in working order was getting cost prohibitive.

They're not, though alot of people would like them to appear to be.
I was reading that Europeans actually found a way to sex the egg so they don't hatch the male eggs, thus negating the need to destroy male chicks. I'm guessing the technology costs money so it's unlikely that US factory farms would use it. Probably easier to kill the with the grinder.
Our politicians are pushing hard for an American system in Canada, the provincial Conservative (Republican) governments are underfunding healthcare so they can turn around and say "See!? This is why we need a two tier system." it's bullshit.
Yes, it works quite well. I found a playlist of all the episodes I was looking for, every file I looked at had sponsor block segments (should've kept looking as the newer files didn't have them) and set it to download the entire playlist. It checks the api and removes any segments that it finds, extracts the audio and reencodes to mp3. Sounds great.
Excellent, I was not aware of this. Most of the podcasts in YT form have sponsorblock entries. And yt-dlp has an easy command:
--sponsorblock-remove Category
Signed up, I don't mind paying but it seems like everything is $10, like I'm not signing up to Rooster Teeth's site and pay $7/month just so I can listen to a single podcast. It's taking me about 5 mins a file to open, strip the intro, find the midroll, delete the midroll and strip the outroll. Will that get annoying longterm... probably, but it saves me paying for a bunch of content I don't care about.
It's "Tales From The Stinky Dragon" which is a Rooster Teeth podcast. I thought they'd have full files on Patreon and I could just use kemono to get access to them, but they have their own app and shit.
I think yuzu is associated with more piracy because FitGirl et al include it in their pirate releases for games with Denuvo
