How likely is it that the OKC Thunder sustain their 50/40/85 shooting splits as a team? (alien.top)
 

Like, seriously, can someone more well versed with statistics tell me what their shooting splits likely end up being?

Currently the Thunder are shooting 50/40/85 (!!) as a team. Which as far as I know is absolutely unheard of. This reminds me of Benedict Mathurin’s hot shooting start to last year that ended up being unsustainable. And how much do we think this ends up affecting the Thunder’s record and standing when that regression occurs?

I’ve always know Goga was better than Franz, Evan Mobley, and Lamelo Ball. Everyone knows he’s better than Zion, that’s a given.

Slight caveat is that this is among qualifying players. Qualifying players have a games played requirement. Will definitely change when Fultz and WCJ are healthy again but nonetheless an amazing start to the year for the reigning ROY. Especially considering the overreactions to his first few games.

Man I haven’t heard a Magic crowd that loud in a long time

After starting the season 5-20 last year, the Orlando Magic have their 5th win of the season in 9 games to start the 2023-2024 season. in c/nba@nba.space

I probably worded it a little poorly. The Magic’s 5th win last year improved their record to 5-20.

This is really just highlighting the horrific start the Magic had last season. Not a lot of people may realize how bad it was since they ended up being somewhat close to a play in spot at the end of the season. Just a neat little stat.
