I’d thought that this debate was settled during the Simmons-Mitchell race, but I guess not. They are rookies; get over it.

I honestly think his defense has taken a noticeable step up this year from previous years, but our team defense is so horrendous that it’s hard to really notice an individual improvement from being a D- on defense to something more like a C on defense.

Our best passers on the team, in order, seem to be Tre Jones, Wemby, Collins, Sandro Mamukelashvili. Vassell honestly rarely passes and while Keldon has gotten much better at making the correct simple read (his assist numbers have seen a bump this year), he will never wow you with creativity on a pass.

He had at least 2 turnovers where he made advanced passing reads that his teammates straight up fumbled, and a third turnover of his was him saving a ball from going out of bounds only to throw it into a backcourt violation. Turnover numbers don’t tell the full story for him this game, though I agree it’s generally been a problem for him this season

He smokes these opportunities a bit too often for my liking, normally because he tries to go straight toward the rim instead of going off glass. Would love to see him make that adjustment (or just yam it) at some point.

If I’m the Spurs I’m sending you some picks 100%, I’ve had my eyes on whichever of Fultz/Suggs/Black ended up being the odd man out from y’all since the draft. Was hoping it’d be Suggs, but Fultz would still be great for our team.

I saw some article or reddit post a while ago that had them, Toronto and Miami as the best in no particular order (there were a few different ways to measure pick overperformance and those three teams traded off winning different measurements)

Double counterpoint Cleveland

[–] Uncle_Freddy@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Dude had a super flat release, it was kind of weird that it’d be consistent for a full year and inconsistent for another full year though
