What is wrong with people these days? These are not counterfeit, mine look exactly the same. I dont even know why they over a refund, this is ridiculous.

The Magni+ is fine for the 800S.

The HD600/650/6XX are significantly better headphones than the K7XX in my opinion.

I still use my 600s, even though I own headphones 3-4 times as expensive, my 7XXs on the other hand are barely being used at all these days.

Depends on the headphone, for some higher impedance/lower sensitivity headphone you do need an amplifier. Say HE-6 or LCD-4 for example.

The people that claim the Chu outclasses the IE800 have likely never heard the IE800.

Im honestly so happy that Sennheiser has been on a roll lately. The new IEM lineup is a huge improvement compared to their older stuff and the HD660S2 is the first meaningful headphone in the HD6xx series since the original HD600.

My next wish: A true HD800(S) successor, a HD900, not a HD800S2.

Love has to be built, not found. I didnt like my HD800 at first. I didnt like my LCD-2C at first. Now, a thousand listens later, I love both of them dearly. I started to appreciate their strengths and accept their weaknesses.

The sad part is, that it is fully justified.

None of the ones I own.

Then basically every high end headphone is not good because none of them have a decent bass shelf except for the DCA Expanse/Stealth.

The "classic" Audeze lineup desperately needs EQ to sounds good, including the bass region. The potential is enormous though. Demoing them without EQ is, in my honest opinion, a waste.
