Always good seeing AD get destroyed. Always good seeing the Lakers get destroyed. The fact that it was Embiid and the Sixers doing it is meh lol.

This is one of the more disgusting choke jobs I’ve ever seen. And against the Lakers of all teams ffs.

Those two guys are “max players” because the current NBA salary economy/expectations are beyond absurd and not reflective of what used to constitute a “max player.” They’re good players and solid starters, but neither is a superstar (or even a star) capable of being a #1 or #2 on a contending team, nor can they carry a team even together.

  1. He literally is an all-NBA caliber player, there’s no questioning or denying this.
  2. He absolutely can take a team that’s on the brink of contending to being a full blown contender. He’s better now than when he was the second or third (depending on how you view him versus Lowry) best player on a team that won a title.

Two big ones for me:

  1. What if Kawhi re-signs with Toronto after the 2019 championship?
  2. What if Brandon Roy and Greg Oden remained healthy for Portland?
