Hard to decide between hd800s and meze 109 pro. I might give it to the 109 considering the price and how its just good for any song you listen to.

Well currently love the hd800s for mostly everything thats not electronic and rock with a lot of gain on guitars and is badly mastered. Unfortunately thats a lot of my library so Liric takes care of that. Both actually have the same eq, 3db bass shelf at 120hz.

But if I had to choose more specifically, hd800s and Pink Floyd is a match made in heaven.

No, I just use spotify for simplicity and ive tried multiple times to hear a difference between it and flac

If its made well then plastic isnt an issue, for example Sennheiser 600 line and also most of HD800/s.

I imagine some wireless buds that have decent water resistant ratings would be best, plus no wires to think about when in the bath.

Local online store, although nothing special, 1400€. That is the lowest ive seen them go in Europe.
