Even his abilities as a DC are mediocre. I genuinely don't know what compelled Chicago to put him in charge of the rebuild.
Holy fuck we're a few weeks into his rookie year with abysmal coaching and roster composition.
If Carolina gets him decent protection and receivers and he still looks like this? Then you can start waving red flags.
Ben is absolutely getting in with 2 rings and 3 appearances on his resume, alongside all the individual accolades. Ryan and Rivers have the volume stats but were unfortunately just overshadowed by their contemporaries.
Someone will give him a chance if they think he's worth the risk - see Bridges and Primo getting back into the league.
But in the case of KPJ he's had multiple incidents since he entered the league, on both of the teams he's been with.
I'm gonna stand by the fact that Allen or Lamar would've been ruined by us. They both went to teams that had far more competent coaching and roster building.
