I personally prefer Shure SRH-840 in terms of comfort and accuracy. It's a bit bulky still (It's from 2010s, so yea, it's got that bulk), but I find it quite comfortable and not a head crushing vice. And whatever you hear from these tend to translate well across most media.

Similar IIRC, bit more refined. They are in the same family so any improvement will be refinements in my opinion.

Almost at that point. I'm mostly rocking Sony XBA-4 and the OG MDR-CD900 (no ST, no CBS, the OG with coiled cords).
Say what you will about Sony, but when they nailed it right, they nailed it right.
