They should trade Klay for 1996 Michael Jordan, I think it would be a smart decision.

Well, last season 6 guys averaged 30 points per game. And 20 years ago, 26 guys averaged 20 points per game. In a league of 30 teams. If you stretch it THAT much, then I guess you can say "40 points is now so normal" as well.

All of them really. Like look at NBA games lol. Dudes do so much more today. I see someone like Jokić who will make at least 40% of decently timed three-pointers and I think "well, in itself it's nothing special for a 7-footer nowadays" lol. Even past-it LeBron would outperform prime LeBron lol. Anyone who denies the facts is just ignoring what the games really look like for sake of "ranking players" obsession.

I don't really know what it means tbh. The 6th biggest league in Europe is probably 2. Bundesliga or English Championship, looking at clubs' facilities, signings, revenues. Of course those teams don't compete in Europe, but that's the system in Europe, not the league. The highest revenue top-flight competition after France was Russia, now it's probably not so it's Turkey. In terms of sport results and famous clubs, the big one in Europe is Portugal, but Dutch clubs had some good results in UEFA competitions in recent years.

There are also several non-European leagues that are smaller in revenue than France but bigger than any other European top-flight - actually six of them by most recent data - so hard to say which two would be in the "7".

All in all I don't know what people mean saying "top 7", but seeing the publication is German I assume Western European ones.

Kings with Haliburton were just awful. There wasn't a realistic hope to make it that good within his contract, so really the fact that a completely different Pacers team made great use of him doesn't matter much to Sacramento.

Kings bet on leaving Fox in (whom would have netted much less attractive trade return than Haliburton at the time) would be the best possible use of their actual chances, and it turned out to be correct.

Is he carrying a bucket

Every Jokić game reminds me how amazing it was that he was constantly called "just an advanced stats guy for advanced stats nerds who don't enjoy just watching basketball" by the top comments all the time here.

Not specifically Gasol, they already won 22 games in Gasol's last full season, and were not much better the next one. They traded him only a moment before his contract was expiring, on the trade deadline day, getting a return of Valanciunas, CJ Miles and Delon Wright - all experienced players.

Short answer, why would it lol.

Apg leaders used to be guys that were very good point guards, usually short, but not really big on scoring themselves. Makes sense that that kind of guy would be the one most often assisting, that's like the role.

There are basically no guys like this anymore, the few last ones are in their 30's. It's just not how teams are built in NBA anymore.

Nowadays, top apg guys are usually also scoring a ton, short guys mostly have to be excellent shooters to be playable, the whole distribution of shots is completely different.

If Zubac-and Westbrok-playing Clippers are "surrounded by shooters", then which 2023 NBA team is not.

If everyone upvotes that you're "overrated", then how are you overrated actually.

Most guys in NBA are moved all the time, except for "core" guys that basically only leave if they want to. The biggest superstars are considered to be obviously worth the max by every team, and even adjusting the rest of the team's philosophy to keep him by every team.

Depends on the case, really, I don't see that rule. Guys like Carmelo Anthony, he was just moved. He just became a guy that's no longer core. There wasn't anything else. It's pretty common and understandable as you are over 30 and decline in form lol. For example Chris Paul, while still active and sometimes great at basketball, was not considered max material by Clippers, and basically was discarded by every team since, not his choice. This is the common way. More rarely, players are still valuable in their 30s but just unhappy, but that's not a rule at all for sure.

Duncan, Kobe, Curry, Nowitzki are some of the biggest "superstars" of the last years and they never moved.
