Watch sports photographers swap lenses in the middle of a game...they're fast, because they've gotten used to knowing which way is up. Maybe practice swapping lenses at home until you recognize familiar click sounds of the lens hitting home

Get it RIGHT BEFORE you press the shutter release...I hate when people say "I'll fix it in post"
I was teaching continuing Ed to seniors on digital photography. I gave them this assignment. You're going to the "old country" to visit relatives. Before you go, take pictures of your area of things you would show them if they came to visit you.
I would not do panos at the 24mm setting. Zoom out to what looks equivalent to your eye perspective.
