I think it's more Maxey thriving more without other ball dominant ball handlers. He runs a good 2 man game (DHO especially) with Embiid, and since now the ball comes back to Maxey, he uses his speed and can get in shooting rhythm.
May be too early, but Maxey is looking damn good so far.
Sixers do need another good wing or two.
