I’m honestly most excited about his defense. Just box score watching tells you that length just mucks everything up for offenses. Can’t shoot over him, can’t get a pass by him.

Yeah the injury in the playoffs really held him back. He’s still a really amazing player.

Yeah, including top 15 player Tyrese Maxey /s

Based on playoff track record alone I’d at least reconsider why he’s ahead of them and Tatum lol

He’s just straight up having a really rough start to the season and the bucks are still 6-4, big change for him lol

Magic are legit. I hope they seriously consider being in the hunt for any players they think they can get because Banchero and Wagner are real up and comers that are only getting better. Still probably a little ways off but the foundation is there (Carter is also a great young piece).

I think this sorts itself out somewhat but I don’t think long term they can entirely just say “fuck it we’ll just out score them”. Dame won’t eat shit every game and as long as they have him and Giannis on the court the offense will be dangerous. As a result I think they need to go a little more in on defense and undercut their strength, which maybe seems counterproductive, but I think they’ll need to relieve the pressure on their offense to score 130 a night. Just don’t be playing 3 guard lineups where the guards aren’t even good defenders. I’d still hope for their sake they look for perimeter defense at the deadline. They don’t have really have many options to go for defense anyway, and perhaps that’s why they’re just going for shooting/offense.

That said I also do think all of this is way too early to say, even worrying about it could end up pointless, and Lopez/Giannis could very well still cover for this enough, at least in the regular seasons

DLo is gonna wake up to LeBron throwing him in the river with cinderblocks tied to his ankles

I think this one is a joke guys

[–] socialistbcrumb@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Crazy statistical performance considering he had that stretch where he missed like seven shots in a row

Good on Chuck, the NBA and its teams need to be grilled on this

He could have picked him down with just like one or two bumps and dunked. Then, a double team comes his way, and he can’t even pass out of it over two guys shorter than him. Come on man.
