i think he’s still solid but he’s had enough time to show that superstar potential and all he’s shown is that he isn’t really a guy who should be a handling the ball all game and taking 20+ shots a game. i think he can still end up being all star level just as a B or C guy and most likely next to another point guard.

reading through these comments makes me realize there’s a lot more elite perimeter defenders than paint defenders out there. like only gobert and ad are elite on that end. chet lacks the strength, brook has looked kinda washed defensively this year im surprised i’m seeing his name, and mitchell robinson is good but overrated
lmao cutting it at three years to not include the other year where they beat them both.
bringing up the regular season is pointless, they absolutely have high expectations in the playoffs. if healthy, i don’t think either the celtics or bucks look unbeatable and from what the heat have shown, they absolutely should be able to match up well if healthy. but the regular season heat are gonna blow leads with jimmy coasting for 35% of the season and then somehow when the playoffs come he’s averaging 30 and the heat are the clutchest team in the league.

this would’ve been considered an overpay even before jokic was an mvp lol
any of those guys would fail in cades position. this was a pretty weak draft, cades definitely disappointed but it’s not like any of those guys seem to be “star of the team” level players either. cades still solid just in a bad position.
