Yet you’re too lazy to explain yourself 🤔

“I couldn’t possibly explain it myself, so I’ll feign intellectual superiority instead”

I don’t understand what you’re getting at? Clearly book one is meant to give a foundation to every the other books in the series. Now you’re getting all huffy because you don’t understand this book without that foundation.

I’m not saying that you’re wrong or stupid. I’m saying if you read the first book then you might actually get something out of the rest. You also might not! It’s equally possible that this series just isn’t helpful for you.

Right, volumes 2-3 are independent. Volume 1 isn’t.

I don’t think your opinion is necessarily wrong, but you should give the books another try starting from 1.

Assuming you had access to the energy and raw materials, I believe you’d also be limited by the size and type of replicators you have access too. Not everything can be replicated, and I believe lower tier replicators have limits on what they can make.

I wonder if you’d be able to replicate a higher tier replicator with a low tier replicator?

I’m so absolutely ready for this. Control and Alan Wake are both such fantastic games, and there are not enough co-op narratives out there.

You should also have a way to convert from version 1 to version 2. Then if someone loads an old version you can save it back in the new format.

I thought it was innovative

Telling people to just google it really discourages a lot of community.

This is possible! At least, I’ve seen it described in other people’s setups. Having the integrated GPU should help in this case.

If I remember correctly, you need to make sure the vm shuts down properly so that it shuts down the graphics card properly. Then you can unload the vfio-pci module and load the correct module for your card.

Two great resources are the subreddit (unfortunately) r/vfio and the arch wiki page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PCI_passthrough_via_OVMF

Actually I can justify breaking a law that I find unjust ❤️

I really agree. State sanctioned murder is unacceptable to me as well, but if they insist then let’s be humane about it.
