Only the shittiest of carpenters blames the tools he made himself, for his own embarrassment.
Flooding the earth was the best he could come up with? He’s supposed to be all knowing and all powerful. He could’ve worked something out without resorting to genocide.
But why would he do that, it's often easier to start from scratch than fix something broken.
It's not much different than starting a new game of SIMS and deleting your old characters.
If you're omniscient, all-knowing, and all powerful, does the concept of what's "easier" even matter?
God just might be lazy.
That's an interesting point, I always assumed that omnipotence meant everything would be trivialy easy, but I suppose that might not be true. It would explain why he decided a flood would be the easiest 'reset button', but even if that's the case it really calls into question his omniscience
