I would've added it to my list if you hadn't. Jeff's version is so good the Cohen original sounds like a cover to me these days.

Also, the only other song besides Cash's rendition of Hurt that will move me to tears on every listen.

Meat Beat Manifesto's cover of "Asbestos Lead Asbestos".

Also everything by Laibach.

I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston

Rise Against's cover of "Ballad of Hollis Brown" comes to mind.

Colin Hay's "I Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You" will always break my heart, but Jem Cassar-Daley's cover shatters my entire being.

Within Temptation covering Radioactive by Imagine Dragons.

Nothing can beat the official music video's surreal hilarity though.

I don’t know if this counts since they worked on it with her, but the Kacey Musgraves version of Neon Moon is fantastic

Edit: ooooooo and I Don’t Wanna Grow Up by Hayes Carll

I really like this choral cover by Eric Whitacre too. Really eerie.

Bonnie Taylor's original cover is a work of art. This proves she's still got it. I enjoyed it just as much as the Johnny Cash Hurt remaster. https://youtu.be/eLVft8O1G98
