A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

I am currently speaking with 2 different companies for multi day events. Both of them are 9pm to 10.30 pm for 3 consecutive days. I work with a second photographer.

  • Both of them require receiving a few photos for each day around midday or during breaks.

-One of them asks for all photos to be delivered on the next day.

-The other one asked for business portraits to be edited & delivered in each participant on site.

If you have encountered something from the above:

What's your workflow for something similar? Do you do zero editing and give the jpgs? Do you hire more people doing stuff?

Thanks in advance

I do this all the time.

Bring a laptop, make sure there's wifi. Whack everything in Lightroom, make basic adjustments and export the images. You'll need a system to work out which photo goes to which person in the case of headshots, or maybe have an online gallery where anyone can visit and just download the image. It needn't by pretty, it'll just need to work given the time constraints. Maybe a google drive would do it, then all you need to do is share the link.
