He currently sits at 471 yards through 9 games and is projected 900 total yards for the season. Not a good look from a guy who got suspended for betting on games to "betting on his daughter's name" on something that has virtually no shot of happening now.

Well, Tyreek hill got 1000 yards in 8 games so it’s possible I guess

[–] weenisbobeenis@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Does this mean he has to change his daughter’s name?

[–] Bingbong2774@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Weird post. L.

[–] NicholasStabile@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

He still beat the Bills though

[–] __the_alchemist__@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

So what happened to his daughter’s name? I think we should let Reddit decide

Does Ridley pass the ball? No... So why not like at the QB

[–] SockVonPuppet@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

He probably didn't know that the Jags wouldn't use him correctly.

[–] YiMyonSin@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

See you in 5 years, Jags

[–] PejaStojak@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Sounds like you’re butthurt

[–] GhostRevival@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Ridley looked amazing after the first game against the Colts, total domination.

[–] Apprehensive_Bug3329@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

U better hurry

[–] ausgmr@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Simple solution

Get an injury

[–] Kiwi_CFC@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

It would help if they passed him the ball

[–] InsideHangar18@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

He’s having a bad year because Lawrence is having a bad year. It happens. They’ll likely be better next year.

[–] jeeves_nz@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

He hasn't looked healthy half of the year to be fair.

So many issues - playcalling, O Line, T Law, and him all contributing to this.

[–] stumo11@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I feel like this would have been possible if the jags oline could hold up for more than a second or 2, and they would move ridley around to get him more looks, they seem dead set on him playing only outside reciever, which is tough when your qb doesn't have much time to hold onto the ball. You get a glimpse of his potential in the jags offense like every 3rd game or so, which is pretty frustrating.

My fantasy team would love for you to be capable again

[–] UglyDuckAI@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Thats not a bet.

[–] Ibe121@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Anyone else make the mistake of drafting him in their fantasy team?

[–] WileECoyoteGenius@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Don't worry. We'll play both Trev and Calvin into form this weekend.

[–] Financial-Year@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

117+ yards a game incoming for ROS

[–] zephyrseija@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

We got some work to do Calvin.

[–] johnnycoxxx@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I remember seeing a short clip of him and another receiver on the team running routes and the difference between Ridley and the other receivers was absolutely ridiculous. Not sure why he’s not balling out this year. But I’m super pumped the eagles trade for him fell through and we wound up with AJ

[–] JohnBrownIsALegend@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

wtf is this post

[–] dolphingarden@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Dude looked like AB vs us

[–] FlashyBasket5238@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Did he bet on that?

[–] Neversoft4long@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

This is like Kevin Gates saying “if I’m lying may god kill my children rn” that shit legit had me rolling on the floor laughing. Then dude even added a please at the end

[–] yaprettymuch52@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

dude gambled his way out of the nfl for a year why would you believe him lmao

[–] PhillyBooBird@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Eagles and Jags fans know the problem.

Doug Pederson was amazing for us and I’m grateful for the Super Bowl he brought us, but his stubbornness to keep “his guys” is what made both parties decide moving on was best for both.

Press Taylor was an awful QB coach for Carson, and most birds fans attribute him with the steady decline in play from his 2018 season onwards. Press Taylor was an awful OC once he got promoted to that as well.

Trevor Lawrence is likely not being properly developed and these issues run deep in the fabric of the current offensive staff. Ridley isn’t bad, they simply literally have no clue how to use him because they’re not good at their jobs.

[–] freestyle43@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Let's all hate confidence.

Imagine if dude was like "Meh, I might up up 800 yards and 5 TDs. I'm not very good."

The fuck is wrong with you people lol

[–] MoneyMakingMitch1@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

It would help if he had the "Generational Talent" we were told at QB but he has a Ehhh QB.

[–] BruceWillish@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

The context is that Doug Peterson gave the play calling to Press Taylor this offseason and has single handily fucked our offense. Also our O-line is so bad Trevor has no time to get to his 2nd and third reads. His fumbles are beginning to be a problem and somehow that’s on Trev and not our O line shitting the bed. Just out of context analysis from outside Jax is something us Jag fans always have to deal with.

[–] Arel203@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

If Ridley wasn't dropping absolute dimes the first 4 games of the season.. he would easily hit that number. The dude doesn't even look like he tries to catch the ball even now. Just playing for penalties.

The recievers were so unreliable and bad the first games of the season I feel like the Doug changed the entire scheme of the offense to compensate for their abyssmal catching ability and now it's biting them in the ass.

I challenge anyone to watch the 22 on Lawrence, or QB school on yt and tell me he isn't playing like a top 5 qb. His recievers are underperforming this year. Jags were leading the league in the first portion of the year for a good while.

[–] JozzifDaBrozzif@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Granted I think he thought they'd throw him the ball occasionally
