Just shown on the Warriors half time show. Kerr and Scott Foster are talking and Kerr decided to walk away, Foster decides to walk after him to keep arguing. Never seen that before, would love the clip. Thanks

IN: Tech baiting

[–] Individual-Thought92@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

On one hand it’s fuck Scott foster but on the other it feels so good when it’s the other team and not you

[–] toasty_-@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

After years of Warriors fans benefiting from Scott Foster… idk kinda feels nice :)

[–] girlscoutcookies05@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Cp3 also called Foster a BITCH 2x on live tv and no one has posted a clip ywt

[–] bigbenis2021@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Three techs in one minute and he’s picking a fight with a coach. If being petty won rings Scott Foster would be Bill Russell.

[–] _412@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Oh man you must not know my ex

[–] WillF7@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Guys you wouldn’t understand ok Sct Fstr is in a different level of refereeing than the human mind is capable of comprehending. We are all witnesses

[–] VGstuffed@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He broke the code

[–] VictoryTowel@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

[Request] [Impossible] Scott Foster to stop being such a clown

[–] alex_song@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I hope Scott Foster tears his ACL running up the side of court on a fast break

[–] MC-Jdf@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Following a coach down the tunnel is insane lmao.

[–] Gauthzu@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Does one step forward really count as "following him" ?

[–] derrickdejuan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (9 children)

Silver gotta do something about these refs.

[–] siliconvalleyguru@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They are ruining the league

[–] GlueGuy00@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Silver ain't never gonna do sh*t

[–] looseturnipcrusher@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Still hoping this year's shit reffing is an elaborate plan to prep people for computerized refs, cause I'm just about done watching as it is.

[–] True_Expert@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

In Lithuanian league, refs now get suspended for a game or so, for bad reffing, making too many mistakes. So far the max was 3 games. Scott needs to be fired, but he probably has some leaway on the league, crap would hit the fan, he would tell things to media, which nba dont want to be leaked, thats why they let foster reffing.

[–] WarcraftFarscape@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

For real. I get it’s probably a lot harder than it looks, but that doesn’t mean the current refs aren’t absolute shit.

It’s not even that my team gets hosed, it’s that quarter to quarter what is and isn’t a foul changes drastically, making it very frustrating to watch.

[–] shamwowslapchop@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Guarantee you the refs who need to get canned are the ones who have a ton of dirt to spill if they were fired. Silver doesn't want to take the PR hit.

[–] paranoideo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He is gonna give them more finals games.

I mean, what are Brothers and Foster doing in the finals after how blatantly bad they are?

[–] ChipsyKingFisher@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What’s he gonna do? Scott Foster has so much dirt on the NBA. So much so that he was one of the main subjects of the FBIs investigation into the NBAs game fixing/betting scandal. And when the FBI told David Stern as a courtesy, Stern intentionally blew their cover and made it go away.

Foster can be this way because he’s comfortable. The NBA markets itself as a competition. Would fuck the whole league if it came out, the NBA stands to lose billions. It would call into question so many results of the modern NBA, etc.

he is trying to tell him dont report me for this obvious regging i am going to help you out the next half, lol

[–] dro010@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Probably realized he screwed up big time..

[–] trongzoon@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They just need to **** and relieve that tension

[–] NetGlass4387@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (4 children)

might be a dumb question but why can’t the players association protest against the refereeing? players are the product, i find it hard to believe they can’t put a stop to the power trip the refs are on.

again idk anything about how associations work (neither players nor referees), looking to hear from people more informed on this topic

[–] BruinBound22@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (4 children)

What do you think the solution to refs missing calls is? Did you know the NBA refs are statistically more accurate than refs at any level? During the red lockout or whatever it was in the NFL it was a total shit show when we had another line of refs, fans were begging for them to return.

[–] Photo_Synthetic@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

It's not about missing calls it's about a long history literally throwing out game changing fouls, techs and ejections for seemingly personal slights against certain players and nothing concrete or against the rules.

[–] BruinBound22@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Can you give me examples of these personal slights where players are being ejected for things not against the rules? There's a long history your said right?

[–] Davethisisntcool@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

look up Joey Crawford

[–] Photo_Synthetic@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Is laughing on the bench against the rules?

[–] tr1vve@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

There is literally a 0% chance you have any statistics to back that up. You’re pulling that straight from your ass.

[–] BruinBound22@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

If anyone is actually interested and not just on the "I hate refs" hype train, this is a good article to start:

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/busting-4-major-myths-about-referees-in-the-nba-playoffs/

[–] IliketheNBA@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That was a garbage article that busted zero myths lol

[–] SomeGuyClickingStuff@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Speaking of calls. How many did Foster have with Donaughy before games?

[–] OkBuddyErennary@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Maybe star players are okay with it when the refs favor them? At least some of them should be okay

[–] hotterpocketzz@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I'm assuming if the players protest against the reffing, the ref association is gonna throw up a stinker and then protest themselves that they're being unfairly targeted by players, coaches, and fans. Then they're gonna boycott being at the games themselves. It's a tricky slope unfortunately

[–] papadopus@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Get a new refs association?

[–] Iceraptor17@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Good luck.

The problem no one wants to admit is there isn't a secret cabal of great refs out there. These are the best refs, and they can get far worse

[–] ThexxxDegenerate@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Should we just sit back and let these power tripping refs be assholes just because they are the best? There needs to be some form of discipline for this. They are literally ruining the product when they act like this.

[–] Iceraptor17@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

There is discipline. They just don't openly flog them.

There's a good chance many of the players are involved in this whole refball/gambling scheme tbh

[–] InsideHangar18@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Jesus Christ, Chris Paul being on the warriors unironically has me rooting for Scott Foster. What a weird time

[–] wkd80@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

scott fosters mad that his streak got broken

[–] ___213___@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

[–] Gauthzu@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Not excusing Joey Bosa's behavior, but this is exactly what happened in the Chargers playoff game. Bosa got upset at the ref but eventually walked away and the ref chased after him and got in his face again, then further penalized him.

[–] stopcallingmejosh@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The problem I have is there's absolutely no accountability for these refs. Why arent they interviewed and forced to explain themselves? Do they get fined for any of this BS?

[–] nbafanineurope@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think Scott Foster has entered "legend" territory which makes any actual evaluation of his performance ( good or bad) irrelevant. Just let the guy be

[–] Bikelifejmoe@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They’re both men, walk away. That’s what the players association is for. Players/coaches need to put their foot down. Refs keep structure and shouldn’t be headlines post game. Athletes and coaches making millions yet a ref stealing attention… hilarious
