I knew somebody was going to get super pedantic about it if he had a bad game anywhere near #10.
OTOH, he and the team have been straight ass since the trade.
Seems to have been good for the sixers though.
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.

Ty Lue said they needed a 10-game window, not Harden. If you're gonna slander at least use factual quotes smh
Forget the max contract..judging by his play rn, he ain't securing a league minimum
Someone's going to sign the name of Harden to a contract far excessive of what player Harden is worth, but it won't be a max
this is game 1 of his 2nd ten game window
Wouldn't trade Moody for him
dw neither would the clippers
They really called you a nephew 🤣
Jesus

Would anybody even be surprised if maxey is better than harden in 2 years?
That ones actually embarrassing haha
u/Niceguydan8 NBA 1yr
Would anybody even be surprised if maxey is better than harden in 2 years?
Probably 99% of anyone with a decent amount of NBA knowledge would be surprised by that
… Jesus. That one is embarrassingly bad. Love it when they’re smug and stupid in one swoop
How do you keep track? Reddit's save function is so bad. Or did you have a RemindMe set?
No, didn't have a remind me set. Don't know how you access reddit but I still have the rif app and it's very simple on here. I literally have 100s of comments saved from memes to reaction gifs to prediction comments lol
I really like seeing these kinds of threads where there are like 20 comments calling the downvoted person a nephew and in hindsight being completely wrong lol.
In this case I feel like the take wasn't even that far off the rails, especially as recent as it was (w/ as little disrespect to Harden as possible, obviously dude's still the 4th best SG and one of the greatest offensive players of all time)- he was already 32 back then, with a heliocentric game relying heavily on athleticism, and was already notorious for being a pylon on defense and going wild in the offseason. I don't think I would've gone as far as saying Maxey would be better by now, but I was definitely on the side of thinking he'd decline pretty rapidly.
Because we’re in the now. It’s hard to evaluate the future.
I can say in 3 years Lively is going to be the better than Embiid and you would have to call me nephew and I would agree.
Meanwhile in 3 years, lots of things can happen. Like injury.
Sure, but people on this sub are also extremely fast to downvote something they don’t agree with.
I can't give you full credit, OP. It seems that you and the other posters who responded were discussing if Maxey can reach Harden's 2021 level of play, not just simply pass him up.
Yes, Maxey improved in two years, but not THAT much. Harden's regression since then plays just as much of a role in the upside switch between the two as any other factor. I mean, by the '01/'02 season, Ray Allen was a better player than Jordan, so it happens.
I just thought it would be fun to look up that stats.
Jordan averaged 23/6/5 with 1.5 steals, 0.5 blocks on 42% FG.
Ray Allen averaged 22/5/4 with 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks on 46% FG .
That's actually pretty close lol. I expected a really big difference
U/jayowenwest Damn nephew
He is the Messiah!
Lmao love how smug they were too u/jayowenwest u/niceguydan8 u/t26_00
King
Lol, Celtics fans have a knack for having a ton of faith in other teams and their players apparently (see also: zombie heat and Orlando magic).
i liked when he shit the ball away and just gave it to the nuggets while sitting on his ass
he has trouble bending down to pick up a ball
he tried today and kicked it
Time to start learning chinese
im sure Charlotte or Detroit will offer him 2 years 100mil
Charlotte will only do that if he beats up his wife/gf
He turned down a 200 million dollar max extension from nets didn’t he
I wonder which team will sign him to a max this offseason given how ass he is right now.
My hot take: Russ and Harden will be bought out and will never see the court again.
Russ isn't bad for a $3+m contract. He's a solid high energy sparkplug off the bench.
Lmao Russ is a steal rn
Locked up by a rookie too
Harden cruising his way to being a joke in the league. Dude was amazing in Houston. But now he just wants to sit back and cruise while others do the heavy lifting.
Unless he starts playing like Houston Harden again he's done, dude cannot win by only taking 8-9 shots a game. Literally cruising by barely taking any shots and not putting anymore effort into defense. Usually when you get star teammates your efficiency goes up but Harden is literally the same player as before but taking half the shots. Which is useless.
Great season thus far for the Playa Haters Ball - Green finally held accountable for being an ass, Harden playing like ass, and Scott Foster publicly feuding with CP3.
Time for a system reboot
This was all entirely predictable before the trade. I expect that at the end of the season there will be only one team that wants his services, the Clippers bc they are too embarrassed to admit they made a mistake. Ironically he will be Westbrook mark 2. Those two players seem tied at the hip
defensive clutch stat 0 for the system
Nuggets didnt have joker so they could olay fast
Every time they gave the ball to Harden in the 4th, Nuggets fans all cheered.
He isn't terribly playing but the amount of attention and money he wants it's looking terrible. If he's looking for a $20mil per year extension sure, but a max? Again, terrible.
When he said 10 game window, he meant 10 HOME games and 10 AWAY games window
