It really does put a fine point on how it’s more important for you to feel right then to do right.
Yes people must correct her genocide propaganda when she tries to blame anti genocide protesters for Trump winning. This is incredibly important so people know where to place the blame and not run genocide candidates like her.
She didn't and as far as I know hasn't called it a genocide yet.

That smirk makes me unreasonably angry. That protester was 100% correct, and there's zero self-reflection. She's out there flogging her books when she should be mounting an opposition.
