But, seriously, you can get some really good Mexican food in Ohio, at least in and around Cincinnati. It goes all the way from authentic abuela selling tamales from a cooler to some texmex deliciousness (shout out to Gomez), then of course the all time classic taco bell.
Also shout-out to tortilleria Garcia, great food.
You almost fooled us until you snuck in Taco Bell.
Oh I mean taco bell is trash I just am saying you can go from super authentic to "Mexican" food all within walking distance of one another.

There used to be a garlic bread seasoning I would use on buttered bread with grated Parm and throw some saucy spaget right on there? Hallelujah.
Unfortunately the seasoning was discontinued and any others I've found are awful

Well okay yes. But it was better than just sprinkling some garlic powder down, lol. It had a bunch of spices in it.
And put them in a jaffle maker. You just unlocked a childhood memory. Baked bean jaffles are also great.

Oh shit, I used to have one of those. Everything goes in it. I can't remember what we called those in the US. Can't find them anymore. Probably won't be able to find much, soon.
Sandwich maker! We had one growing up and it was awesome.
I guess when you've survived and thrived on the continent where everything kills you, you deserve to put beans in a closed toastie and like it.
Leftover macaroni and cheese makes a mean grilled cheese sandwich filling, then you dip it in tomato soup.
Mexican here. Get real tortillas and this gets my seal of approval.
New Mexican here. Get some green chile on there and it'll be fine.

That episode where David Choe takes Anthony Bourdain Sizzler, takes the meatballs from the spaghetti buffet, and throws them into a taco shell with quac and sour cream. RIP.

A little iceberg lettuce, some diced tomato, chili spice, shredded cheese, and sour cream, you got yourself a balanced breakfast, if you add some Froot Loops and chocolate milk.
Genuinely amazed one (in particular) of my university housemates didn't come up with this abomination.
He'd be devastated to see this... 😅
I will keep this in mind the next time Americans complain about British food.
