I had no idea. oO

This was a NSFW, darkly-hilarious webcomic that started ages ago (1999) and ended a few years later... or so I'd thought for years. But no, it seems artist "Clay" has recently relaunched the sucker!

https://www.sexylosers.com/

It's pretty much in the "OGLAF" class of webcomics, but maybe a little more wicked and subtle.

Teach him new things? Nah, just leave. How the fuck does she think you learn what to do? That's like yelling at someone for not being able to do their job when they've been there for less than an hour.

[–] yermaw@sh.itjust.works 46 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I went 4 years at my McJob without learning how to make salads. Nobody ever taught me and it was always too busy to show me. Every time they asked me to go make one id said I havent been shown I dont know and they'd yell at me for being thick and then send someone else without teaching me.

Anyway after 4. Fucking. Years of this bullshit getting shouted at around twice a week somebody finally shows me. Turns out you have to open the bag into the pot. And thats it. Could have explained it in like 3 seconds.

I hate those fuck-clowns so fucking much.

I'm laughing because I never knew what the hell oatmeal was while working at this breakfast place as a line cook.

This was before phones on the internet. Nobody ever ordered it. My coworkers looked at me and laughed.

So I followed the instructions on the box that said hot water and oatmeal.

And later on, my boss gave me shit for not teaching me.

I really think most people just want to feel power over others. But this knowledge doesn't make it any easier :(

[–] FosterMolasses@leminal.space 3 points 1 day ago

Nah you're absolutely right, that's why nothing ever gets done anymore in society.

Narcissists crave drama.

[–] Honytawk@feddit.nl 3 points 1 day ago

The problem isn't being new to it.

The problem is calling a help line while performing.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 17 points 2 days ago

Dude seems very willing too.

[–] deathmetal27@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

He's been posting pretty frequently over the last year or so.

[–] iconic_admin@lemmy.world 157 points 3 days ago (3 children)

At least he trying.

And knowledge is half the battle.

[–] 0ops@piefed.zip 104 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Dude's literally taking notes, the desire is there and that's the first step

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 19 points 2 days ago

i usually write notes on her inner thigh with a sharpie.
easy to refer back to whilst I'm at it.

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 44 points 3 days ago

No, no. The best thing to do is to pretend he knows what he is doing so that he never learns but also any remote possibility of conflict is avoided!

Yeah so he can learn and do better next time

[–] VitoRobles@lemmy.today 18 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The meme where "men will do [insane activity] than go to therapy", the counterpart should be women leaving rather than communicating their sexual needs.

[–] Kellenved@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 days ago

Eg. Women will literally create a fake relative having cancer on another continent before being clear and direct about their sexual needs

[–] DylanMc6@lemmy.ml 27 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I think Clay got married a while ago, and his spouse encouraged him to continue the webcomic. Seriously!

[–] SailorFuzz@lemmy.world 20 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Holy shit.... the return of sexylosers isnt something I expected.

I might be remembering wrong but didn't this webcomic invent or popularize the word "fap"?

[–] Themosthighstrange@lemmy.world 26 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

It most definitely did, I clearly remember this

[–] JohnnyEnzyme@piefed.social 18 points 3 days ago

Great point, and fully accurate, I believe.

IIRC, "Clay" was taking after a manga at some point...

subtle

Yuuko would disagree.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 40 points 3 days ago (1 children)

The mistake was asking a random radio show host what to do, and not the GF they were trying to make cum.

Communication is the key to orgasms. And maybe a French tickler.

[–] JohnnyEnzyme@piefed.social 21 points 3 days ago

LOL...
Satirical comic, or insightful social commentary..?

YOU BE THE JUDGE!

[–] leftzero@lemmy.dbzer0.com 31 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Wait, this is the one with the necrophiliac who stalks a girl who wants to kill herself (but obviously not anywhere near him), isn't it?

It's quite a big darker than Oglaf, but it was great!

I didn't know it was back, thanks for calling attention to it!

[–] JohnnyEnzyme@piefed.social 12 points 3 days ago (1 children)

That's what I remember, too. It's indeed dark as the abyss in that way.

Also, it's been like 20yrs.
As someone who could technically be a grandfather now, I worry about this stuff. Like-- it's hilarious on the one hand, but also nothing I'd want to see younger gen doing.

I'm probably a total idiot for sharing it, but I guess we'll see.

I'm sorry, what? It's a webcomic. It's harmless humour. It doesn't hurt anyone. Let people have fun.

This is good satire. I'm sure the cartoonist knows that not being good at sex and wanting to learn is not a problem, and that calling a talkshow while having sex is. By acting like the one thing is the problem and the other isn't, you need to think to understand this.

And it generates easy outrage.

And by looking into this comment section, you can see that it "worked".

[–] JohnnyEnzyme@piefed.social 8 points 3 days ago

He plays around with a lot of sexual themes and topics. Maybe it's not always 'ultimately accurate,' but I find it fun and interesting for the most part, or.... sometimes a bit gross and unnecessary.

And that was ~20yrs ago!! I had no idea he'd started this up again!!

[–] maltasoron@sopuli.xyz 25 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

He even sends out a newsletter everytime there's a new comic.

[–] n0respect@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago
