The thing we’re missing here is that while normal, well-adjusted, educated people who recognize the alarm bells of an elected official publishing gaffs and mistakes like these, the MAGA base frequently makes and overlooks these kinds of mistakes, overlooking them as inconsequential. We all do shit, but none of it matters if it’s done with charisma.
It’s like when a Gen-Z college intern reads an email from a Gen-X, C-Level boss that’s riddled with possessive apostrophes and misspellings and he wonders how someone who never achieved a commensurate literacy is promoted into that role. But it’s not a deal-breaker because his network of peers and competitive, extroverted personality are thought to keep the business thriving.
Jump ahead to a thriving workplace where the hardworking hourly employees show up everyday.
Jump to a Master’s graduate who vibe-authored all of his papers and never had to deal with minutia like punctuation in his resume.
Jump to a charismatic personality.

Bold of you to assume they'll give Greenlanders American citizenship, or even association status.
The 25th amendment should be immediately invoked and Trump removed.
That has to be done by his cabinet.

Only way a "25th amendment" happens on this fucker is if it plays out like it would in North Korea.

The US is awesomely amazing at invading other countries. This is a simple fact sustained by history
Having said that
It's also a simple fact, sustained by history, that America suckw beyond badly at occupying conquered territories. Iraq, anyone? Afghanistan anyone?
And those had relatively easy climates. Greenland is a fucking horror show with which the US has little experience
Any occupation of Greenland by the US WILL fail eventually, the question is just how many US soldiers will have to die before it's decided that maybe just maybe this wasn't a good idea.
The only way it would could possibly work is a complete genocide, kill or forcibly remove ALL citizens. This of course would be a humanitarian catastrophe with very few examples in history, but I wouldn't put it past the cheeto.
This all goes to ignore people living in the US. If you invade Venezuela, Mexico, Canada, Greenland.... Do you really think that none of its citizens that currently live in the US might get ideas? Then what? You're going to round those all up too?
Once the US invaded one of its allies, the current administration will be over, it's just a matter of time before it will bleed to death
