So what's the point of Congress again?
The circus part of bread and circuses.
I feel Congress is more the bread part. If you don't have money, they'll let you live. But just barely. Don't want the slaves getting too comfortable.
The circus is 'ol "grab 'em by the neck pussy" Drumpf.

Can a reporter please ask why his neck looks like a vagina. That would be fucking great to watch
Republicans made Congress a distraction. Democrats let it happen.
Once people figure out politics is just business then the perspective changes. It's just that people like distractions more than paying attention. See Fox News Propaganda for a great example of both.
Thank dog we torpedoed Kamala for her genosidal transphoblic failure to support the proletariate
Kamala lost fair and square. She was a shitty candidate who ran a shitty campaign. Supposing that Arabs and tankies are what lost her the election, well, perhaps she should have tried to win them over? Perhaps she could have promised to stop supporting the mass slaughter, for instance, but I guess unconditional support for Israel was more important than keeping Trump out of the White House!
And yet, despite the total failure of the Democrats to stop Trump, you still cling to them. "If only those damn Arabs had voted for us! So what if we're killing their families?" "Tankies torpedoed Kamala for not being the perfect candidate!" Pathetic! You should own your failure - the Democrats failed you, and you failed yourselves and everyone else for not demanding more from them. You could have used this to grow as a person, morally and intellectually. Instead, you just fall back on scolding like in 2016. You'll never learn a thing.
The failure was of Americans to not stop trump. The democrats wouldn't be as bad a the republicans, so it was pure dumbfuckery to not vote for them. Why didn't Kamala appeal to every one of your wants? Sure it's part because of donors; but also because any issue has potential voters on both sides. There was no selection of issue stances that would have garnered enough votes if people only voted if they agreed with all of them. And clearly enough Americans were (and apparently still are) unable to see the logic of voting for the better candidate even if not perfect.
Sure, Americans are definitely to blame. The Democrats are Americans, by the way.
She was too busy trying to win over the father right far right.
100% this.
It feels like we have about an average of about 4 headlines per day in which the tankies and the reactionary centrists are exposed as the frauds or the useful idiots that they are...
Remember when Republicans were screeching about Biden giving away ‘too much taxpayer dollars’ to Ukraine?
…crickets now.
Either Congress fix this by taking action against this administration, or just scrap it altogether and fire all of these parasites cashing a paycheck without working.
Can we do both?
Chuck Shumer is shaking in his AIPAC-sponsored boots rn. If he feels that it's his job to aid Israel, well, he's out of a job.
I'm sure he'll 5-head chess this into a "Aha! I meant to do that, because now we don't have to talk about it anymore and we can concentrate on the important stuff!" speech immediately followed by caving to literally the first R demand.
Israel the real American promise land.
And the rampage to destroy a superpower goes on. Trump is not a very good president but he is a good and loyal friend to "others".
