No one thinks they need a trebuchet until the day comes that laying siege to the Dairy Queen is the only way you can get them to properly make your Heath Bar Blizzard.

They are thinking very highly of the torque handling capability of the arm of that trebuchet compared to the support its base provides.

When I was a child I was really obsessed with that damn battering ram just because of the Rankin & Bass film it appeared in.
I brought the VHS to my afterschool program to make my classmates watch it against their will (a thing we took turns doing on Thursdays) but the runtime was longer that the duration of the school program. I had to fast forward to the scene to make my classmates see Grond smash the gates of Minas Tyrith right before my mother picked me up to go home. It was a stressful few minutes.
