atreidas was in ENTEPRISE as an AUGMENT for numerous episodes.
His character portrayal was better than the old movie. More believable, more like the book.

I liked that movie though.
I'm in the "both" camp I like the cinematography of the 2021 edition, and Hans Zimmer really did a great score they make it look and sound futuristic and cool, but you need to read the book first as they skip a lot of the plot.
But the 1984 edition is still good, sometimes I start humming the main score and then I know it's time for a rewatch.
I like the 1984 up to about 2/3 of it. After that it feels rushed and gets pretty confusing. I also really dislike the shield generator effects.

I read it a few years ago and to me it was a difficult read. Not that I didn't like it but in my mind it didn't resemble the movie very much. Or more like... how could anyone read this and then think "let's make a movie of this"?
I loved “the voice” effects of the 84 version. The new “voice” sucked.
Something about the resonating/reverb sound effect of the original felt so cool. Like a nagging command or idea that just bounces around in your head and amplifies with its harmonic frequency until it truly compels the listener.
That's definitely a legit take, but it seems like the joke of the meme is the 84 version is bad, and that's what makes me bristle.
It's an absolute classic.
OP should have turned Zendai into Tim. Then the meme would be really funny.

I'm not old enough to have any skin in that game, but I definitely go back to it more often than the original trilogy.

He was a better Paul Atreides as well. I didn't get a "affluent duke's son raised in privilege" vibe from the new Paul, I got more of that vibe from Zendaya ffs.
I did a Google search for images where Dib from Invader Zim is depicted as Muad'Dib, and there apparently aren't any. You have let me down, internet!
