not necessarily. I know far too many intelligent people who are hard-line conservatives. it's just a lack of empathy, world experience, stubborn ignorance, or some combination of the above. Although, I do concede that the overwhelming majority of the populous that is uneducated is Republican and this is entirely my anecdotal perspective.
Sadly, the word "fewer" has very nearly gone the way of the dodo. Drives me a little crazy.
