it bothers me the guy in the front has messed up eyebrows

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 33 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Rude. He already knows he's balding.

[–] OrteilGenou@lemmy.world 17 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Hey, ease off, he has eyebrowlopecia

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Good one. Reminds me of Arrested Development.

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

To me it looks like he's doing The People's Eyebrow

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago (2 children)

The fact that it's an AI slop version of this image is worse.

[–] DiabolicalBird@lemmy.ca 28 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I knew I had a good old fashioned photoshop version lying around

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 months ago

So much better!

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 4 points 2 months ago (3 children)

It's sad I am unable to see like 30 percent of pictures on boost cause of some bullshit.

Do they open in the browser? Many Lemmy instances seem to be behind CloudFlare, so it could be that you just have some problem with connectivity to CloudFlare, but only for some of their ips.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 1 points 2 months ago

I'm not sure. If it's not very important to me then I just move on.

Sorry, I'm lazy.

Get that reward survey done! Getting paid for their data mining, fuck yeah. Sometimes I rant to them about bad design choices and get like 75 cents for it lol. Although they haven't given me one for a while...

Ngl, I'm boring af online. My spicy bits are irl only. And getting a free game every few weeks is kinda nice.

He’s probably talking about something like this:

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago (2 children)

That is one of two things I miss about reddit

[–] brown567@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago

Is the other one that guy's dead wife?

[–] ProdigalFrog@slrpnk.net 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

Be the baldness you want to see in the world (I.e, create a bald community here :3)

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

the last community i moderated was a medical community and i am literally the only person still alive from it. i am not going through anything similar again. someone else can do that

For like 5 users to join, one of them posting 30 "memes" a day from like 5 years ago and the rest lurking. I get the feeling Liechtenstein has more residents than there are Lemmy users

mane pattern baldness

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 30 points 2 months ago (1 children)

This lion looks like he pitties fools.

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's entirely possible that his mane is covering a plethora of gold chains.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Actually, after 9/11 Mr T stopped wearing gold chains. He said he found it disrespectful to keep flaunting wealth when so many people had just lost so much.

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago

This is true but also an obstacle to the joke I wanted to make. If I had been more forward thinking, I should have included that very important footnote. It says a lot about his character.

[–] thessnake03@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

He stopped wearing them after Katrina

[–] tacosanonymous@mander.xyz 22 points 2 months ago

The African sun is no joke. I hope he’s using sunscreen.

[–] TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 22 points 2 months ago

Man, I dunno. Besides the little tuft up top, this looks kind of badass. Like an older, good-hearted biker, but you definitely don't want to fuck with him.

He doesn't look bald enough to be a Tsavo lion. Wonder if there's a testosterone imbalance. All just speculation; no clue.

GOD tier sideburns tbh

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 5 points 2 months ago

I'm 85% sure this lion is Ginger in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park. Him and his brother Garlic are the main two of two Mfuwe pride. Ginger is balding like this, and it's awkward.

He just like me 🥲
