Republican voters are dumber than dirt.

Go. Fuck. Yourselves. Party of Pedophiles.

How about YOU pay for the Epstein Ballroom instead??? Along with the Hitleresque bunker beneath it--- not that Shitler is going to let you in there when the country finally turns on him.

Go. Fuck. Yourselves. Party of Pedophiles.

Hey now, careful. You're talking about the next major compromise Democrats will make to keep funding Epstein's War.

How about YOU pay for the Epstein Ballroom instead???

You think Lindsey Graham has ever paid for anything in his life? Defeats the whole point of being a US Senator.

[–] gary215@thelemmy.club 13 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

I thought they already had the money from private donors and from Trump's personal bank account. Did they paid for it and now need another 400 million more?

[–] Typhoon@lemmy.ca 6 points 3 hours ago

Because the donations ended up in Trump's pocket. It was always a grift. Everything he does is to enrich himself.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

You lose track after a while. I think at one point Mexico was supposed to pay for it.

[–] fox2263@lemmy.world 13 points 5 hours ago

I feel the dems should be like “sure, we will agree to this, if you can show us where the already collected 400m from private donors has gone that was supposed to pay for it. Every cent. We will wait”

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 4 hours ago

It is VERY interesting how the drumbeat for "we just gotta build the ballroom now!" began RIGHT after this shooter at the WHCD.

Very interesting indeed.

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 23 points 10 hours ago

So all those bribes were never going to pay for the anything other than Trump's down-payment on his beach front property in Gaza. Cool cool. The corruption is laughable at this point. Republicans and Neo-Liberals are pure evil.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 14 points 9 hours ago

Hey South Carolina, member when you had the chance to boot this bag of shit to the moon?

Yeah. Anyway.

[–] Soulphite@reddthat.com 73 points 14 hours ago (3 children)

Cool.. $400m to a Fuhrer bunker but nah to healthcare, food, or other things that keep people alive.. not one bunker that keeps a fat stupid fucking pedophile "safe" from the people.

What a stupid fucking piece of shit. Someone don't miss this time.

Go eat some cake and be happy, peasant.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 4 points 9 hours ago

The cake is $17. Epay only.

I mean, theat whole ballroom thing is absurd, but so is everything america does for their little kings. The security guards, the tank they roll around in, airforce one... In other countries their leaders often go to work by train, bicycle or gasp drive themselves. While 400 million is a lot of money going down the drain, compared to the rest of the bullshit celebrity ass kissing budget you have to ensure your little princes safety, it's nothing. And it's not even good. People just walk in to the guy. When obama was president there was an incident where someone just walked in the white house and no one stopped them, because they are incompetent as fuck.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 5 points 8 hours ago

"Sparking concerns" my ass. The government has been captured.

[–] BeigeAgenda@lemmy.ca 29 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

This feels like the 100'th time orange guy has said something and immediately after everyone flocks around him and says yes this is what we need let's do some laws and praise him for coming up with it.

I get so tired, the brown nose circus is well oiled and all the clowns are mastering their roles.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 15 points 11 hours ago

Conservatives crave being subjugated. It is fundamental to their ideology.

[–] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 56 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

You didn't really think Trump's pet project was going to be privately funded, did you?

As always, it's Trump's vanity but it's your money and your White House...

[–] qprimed@lemmy.ml 30 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Graham said Monday that the ballroom should be paid for with $400 million in taxpayer funds collected in the form of national park fees and customs fees, with the private funding Trump secured going to extra costs like fine china.

oh, the epstein donations go towards the epstein china. pretty simple, really.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 4 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

lol anyone who thinks that money’s ever leaving trumps personal accounts is a moran . . .

[–] qprimed@lemmy.ml 3 points 9 hours ago

I see what you did there 👀

[–] blattrules@lemmy.world 46 points 14 hours ago (2 children)

Where’d all the money go that he raised already? It’s great that these assholes can cut everything else, saying “we don’t have the money,” but find infinite funds when their king wants something.

[–] Hasherm0n@lemmy.world 4 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Oh this was my favorite part of the article...

Graham said Monday that the ballroom should be paid for with $400 million in taxpayer funds collected in the form of national park fees and customs fees, with the private funding Trump secured going to extra costs like fine china.

[–] blattrules@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

Haha I think I zoned out midway through the quote from him. So trump raised something like $300 million according to him previously and that’s only going to go to place settings.

[–] tempest@lemmy.ca 11 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I mean it was always a grift.

Every 'donation' is just a bribe and has been from the start.

I'm sure I didn't need to state this at this point.

[–] blattrules@lemmy.world 3 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah, but where’s the money that he raised for the ballroom? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised if he just pocketed it and that our political donation system is not regulated and like everything else, just relies on winks and handshakes, but his grift has to hit some legal wall at some point, right? …right?

[–] tempest@lemmy.ca 1 points 8 hours ago

They would not have "donated" if they didn't have a clear way to siphon it out to whoever or wherever Trump and his cadre wanted it.

[–] sns@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

If every elementary school had a 400 million dollar ballroom, they too would be safe!

[–] GreenBeanMachine@lemmy.world 9 points 13 hours ago* (last edited 13 hours ago) (1 children)

This would be counter productive. Kids are for raping and bombing only.

*/s obviously

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

i mean duh you left out the mines

[–] sturmblast@lemmy.world 6 points 13 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago) (1 children)

.... I dont want one cent of my money paying for a Trump vanity project

[–] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 9 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (1 children)

You don't get to say what your money is spent on, and you don't get to negotiate how much you want to contribute. That's the power of taxation.

In theory, you can vote for someone who will choose to spend your hard-earned on something worthwhile. In practice, it's an illusion. And pretty soon, Trump will try to dispense with the illusion altogether.

[–] sturmblast@lemmy.world 3 points 12 hours ago

Well, you could just not pay taxes, but thats risky too
