You know who didn't block sex-workers and Queer people? Jesus.
(Jesus offends the religious authorities more than a few times because of His associations, notably "prostitutes"--with a later tradition holding that the woman to whom Jesus' return from death was first revealed, Mary Magdalene, was herself a sex-worker; as for Queer followers in the Bible, Jesus makes reference to "eunuchs" and Jesus Himself seems to fit on the asexual scale)

My guess is it's a trap to get thumpers to pay a premium for what is just a custom DNS.
Love it. Parents putting their kids on the network thinking it'll stop them from being able to access anything, kids set any other DNS, parents will never know.
Yet again a parenting task pawned off to a corporate promise they can't keep instead of teaching responsibility.
DNS lists exist for adult content. So it'd be pi.hole but for porn.

If you have to self-police like that, your followers don't believe in the morals you preach.
Why take personal accountability for one's morals when you can offload it to a paid service?
Reminds me of being asked how I keep from murdering and raping people, since I do not believe in an eternal damnation.

I've seen more posts about this than are necessary for a person to see. I think zero is probably the optimal number, but can anyone explain why this is worth printing even one story about?
Only time I remember anyone blocking nudity in the Bible was Satan inciting that in the garden.

It's tempting to shrug this off as not my business, but if this kind of entity becomes widespread enough, then you can get into situations where a future government, more radical when than what we have today, could feasibly mandate people to use these types of networks
even without that there are people who will be forced to use this, like kids of religious parents
